Great place. Libraries just aren't about books. They are a place for a community to grow and learn from another. Staff is always willing to help. I try to visit as often as I can. Make the most of this place.
They have an illegal sign on the front door... they need to fix that.
They also need to replace the flag that’s being disgraced on the pole.
It's a REAL LIBRARY with real books which scores major points with me! This is a modern new facility, only about five years old I believe, built adjacent to the "Old Library Building". On top of all that, we have a great children's section (story times, guest speakers, comfy seating) and reference section both with lots of computers and helpful Librarians and aides. Free WiFi all day long, too. If you're visiting or new to town, the main library is worth checking out.
We come here all of the time. It's a great place to bring kids!! We love the play area, the book selection, friendly staff, and my son is getting ready to enter their Lego display project. Kids 6+ get a chance to make a Lego set of their own and possibly have It displayed in the kids play area. It's a very relaxing place to come to read/study while the kids stay busy.
I've always loved this library. There is a ton of stuff for kids to do. Computers, Legos, board games, a puppet theatre, a play kitchen and over sized blocks. Plus all the books! Staff is really friendly, and will buy books you request.
