I checked with the others and Albany Rental was more cost effective. For excavator and hydro tiller. Smooth deals.
The equipment I have rented has been reasonably priced and functional. Customers should be warned that with a 4 hour rental you will actually only get about 3 hrs. They require you to go into the office and start your rental, then sit in you car in a line for ~30 minutes waiting to receive the piece of equipment. You then have to sit in another line to return the equipment before getting credit for checking it back in.
Far and away the best prices, very knowledgeable. No guff.
As everyone says it's hit or miss. Equipment is very heavily used but in working condition and this is reflected on a price. Rented many times with no issues at all, but not this one. Tried calling to resolve the issue but they insist they are formally right and period. So make sure you follow what's in contract, don't assume anything or they may catch you.
