My work has had me here for several weeks now. It's conveniently located just off I - 5 and the Santiam Highway in Albany. The rooms, people, and included breakfast have all been great for me. If I had more time I would have enjoyed using their indoor pool and spa as they looked very relaxing.
Great place, great location, great workers. It was very clean and orderly and the sound levels were low to nonexistent. If you want a peaceful place to stay, look no further. An excellent stay.
My wife and I are from the local area and booked one of the big rooms for a romantic anniversary getaway. Although the rooms are a little dated and the customer service was lacking, we did have a good night away. A few days later, without any courtesy call, I noticed a 250.00 fee on my cc for smoking charges, even though we didn't smoke in the room. When my wife called to inquire, she was told that the cleaning lady said the room smelled like smoke and this is why we received the charge. The manager refused to give any additional information or direct me to someone higher in the chain of command to dispute this with. I have not received any evidence as to why this charge was generated. After further research I have came to the conclusion this is one of the hotels that do this for extra revenue. I have disputed with my cc company and informed the manager I am prepaired to go to small claims court to prove my innocence. Don't get taken advantage of by this hotel, save the time and get the same style room at the Phoenix inn right across the street. They also have better service.
The Grand Prairie Inn is one of my favorite Best Western Motels. The facility is well-maintained and the staff is friendly. My room was near the front desk but it was exceptionally quiet.
Clean, comfortable property with welcoming staff. The room was large and airy. The bed was comfortable and firm. We were traveling with a dog and appreciated being able to stay in a nice hotel. The breakfast was better than the average breakfast-included fare. The hot food was hot and the cold food was cold. Everything tasted fresh and the staff kept the food area clean.
The location is superb if you are a jogger or dog-owner as there is a large park adjacent the motel.
Wonderfully well-maintained and clean!
