Our lovable Puppy ingested a mushroom, on Easter Sunday, we rushed her to our local vet, who said she needed IV's and constant supervision. He recommended Rivers Edge in North Albany, and called ahead for us. They were waiting for us and went right to work on our precious little 5 lb girl. Could not have been better care, wish we had that kind of care in our emergency room. We can't thank Dr. Gray and staff enough for all they did for Lily. And how up front and kind they were to us. I will refer all my friends. Great Place. Super Great Doctor.
If I could do -5 stars I would. My visit to River's Edge Vet was by far the WORST I've encountered of any vet in ten years. The vet on staff, David Grey, was insincere, impersonal and clearly just there because he had to be not because he cares about the well being of my animal or me. Not to mention the facility is dirty with the remainders of urine on the floor and scale. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone and will be sharing my horrible experience with as many as possible.
Our dog for her tongue stuck in a ball after hours and needed a vet to sedate her and cut it off. The staff was very kind and helpful over the phone and stayed that way when we brought her in. The procedure was fairly quick and the actual cost of the visit came in ~$50 under the estimate. We were very pleased with the visit.
I would give them a zero if possible. They are seriously terrible. My dog got into gum. When we got to the vet they made us call poison control to ask what to do (which I had to pay for.). And than the vet was man handling my dog to the point where my dog was yelping. My husband nearly punched him. They charged us over 2,000 for a day and a half stay. DO NOT GO HERE.
The technicians are polite and respectful. The Vets are a WHOLE different story.... Highly arrogant, cruel, and NOT professional. Never again will I take a pet there. Corvallis has a much better emergency clinic with staff who listen to customers. As for routine visits, my pets will only be treated at Albany Animal Hospital.
