This is an amazing school with a phenomenal performing arts program, and has one of the lowest bullying rates in the state, along with one of the highest graduating rates.
If you like Taco Bell like me, but have always wanted to watch your it prepared and delivered at an excruciatingly slow place while behind the safety of a large glass window, this is your place.
I previously rated this school a 5 star because I ADMIRED the structure and stability of managing such a successful and large school.. however I changed my rating to a 3 star.. due to the fact that the school has recently decided to allow extremely inappropriate clothing at their school. It isn't just the distraction to the kids thats frustrating... more so.. it's that these ADULT AUTHORITY FIGURES are condoning the flaunting of little to no clothing. A "box" dress code is not appropriate for a school. And yes by "box" that's exactly what it mean.. as long as the vagina and breasts are covered.. anything goes. As a mother of 3 teenage girls.. the last thing I want my daughters feeling is that dressing this way is okay.. or feeling like they HAVE TO dress this way because they see others doing it!?!?! U R A SCHOOL! ACT LIKE IT!!
Mr Myrick is such an inspirational educator and scholar. I would wake up every morning striving to do my best due to his creative and informative lectures. It's hard to find amazing teachers and I think West Albany is lucky to have teachers who are so passionate about their craft. Go Bulldogs!!!
It's full of Emo's and everyone is super stuck up. Your sporting department is the only real thing you have going for you. I would rather stick my head in a blender than attend here.
